Eusebia
(
Eh-oo-seh-be-ah)
In 1999, this widowed mother of 12 was struggling to survive. Starting with a $100 loan to sow 1 acre of beans, Eusebia has since been approved for 6 additional loans and now owns 100 acres, 56 head of cattle, a cheese business, and even a hog farm. All because of a small loan, that when planted and tended, became a harvest that sustains her family and inspires her community.
