Etayehu is a political refugee from Ethiopia and feels blessed to live in the USA. Needing to support herself and her young sons, she combined business skills learned from a local small business development program with culinary skills learned as a child. She now sells organic Ethiopian cuisine through her catering company and local farmers' markets.

Symbolizing Etayehu's love of cooking, this piece's circular design was inspired by the shape of a dinner plate. Each ring signifies the various courses of a meal and can be interchanged (or removed) to create many versatile looks.
